3...2...1...HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!
Me (and probably many of you): "This is going to be my year! I'm ready to go out here and get it! Last year was cool, but this year....HARVEST SEASON!!!"
Me also: "This bed feels so good! Sure, I can volunteer for every event in the universe. You and your boo just got into an argument? Of course you can cry on my shoulder everyday until you guys are back together or until you find a replacement boo this summer."
Does any of this sound familiar? If so keep reading. I've come up with 3 ways to help you to finally accomplish your goals this year! If not, keep reading anyway...sometimes I say something funny.

THE TOP 3 WAYS TO ACCOMPLISH YOUR GOALS THIS YEAR
Think Smaller: Surprised? Don't be. I'm not suggesting that you don't set huge goals for yourself; I'm simply suggesting that you breakdown your goals into smaller achievable objectives. Think of it like a navigation system.
Just imagine with me for a moment that you and I are driving from Atlanta, GA to travel to Z Pro Prep® south Florida to get a little help with our upcoming NFL/NBA cheer/dance tryout (and to get some beach time of course). One of us pulls out our phone and plugs the address into maps, and then we hear:
"Get on 75 south ride a long way and get off of the highway when you think you're almost there. Drive around the city, and eventually you'll find it."
I don't know about you, but I am instantly discouraged, overwhelmed, and NOT looking forward to the journey ahead.
Sound absurd? Well, that's exactly what happens when we have a major goal to accomplish and don't take the time to break down our tasks. So, take a moment to write out small objectives. Sure life may reroute you sometimes due to unforeseen circumstances, but hey...you're headed in the right direction!
Maximize On Your Relationships: Maybe you have (or have had) relationships with people who can assist you.
If you know someone who has done it before (or done anything similar) they're usually willing to give you advice if they know you're serious. Sometimes these same people will make a call on your behalf or even introduce you to others who are willing to help!
This is exactly what motivated me to begin the Z Pro Prep® NBA/NFL pro dance/cheer intensives. We've all been professional cheerleaders and dancers so why not assist other ladies with their pro team dance/cheer goals?
Please note: If people begin to use people's personal connections to help you achieve your goals make sure that you're serious about your plans to move forward. It's perfectly fine to explore an area before jumping in head first, but let those assisting you know if you've not yet decided on your goal.
ERASE THE PICTURE: Our amazing eyes take snapshots of every moment of everyday, and then stores these vivid images into our brains.
I know you have a beautiful and very detailed picture in your mind of what the end result will be once you achieve your big goal. If I were you I would erase that picture!
I know that sounds harsh, but when has anything looked or felt exactly as you imagined it would? You may be missing out on the beauty of life's everyday opportunities because you're searching for a picture that you've made up. So get rid of those false images!
It's o.k. to have general dreams and visions for your future, but make sure to leave plenty of room for surprises along the way!
Even on the toughest days of your journey continue to move forward in the knowing that "YOU ARE ENOUGH", and that you will accomplish everything that you are purposed to do while you are on this earth!
