Z Pro Prep® was created because our founder Zakiya was tired of going to tryouts year after year seeing auditionees with so much potential not achieving their pro team goals due to the lack of proper prepping. Of the few classes that did exist, most were overpriced, lacked value, or focused soley on dance technique (which is important, but not enough to get you on a Pro team). There were valuable prep resources being offered by the Pro teams, but of course coaches couldn't provide in depth feedback in such a short time frame. During a pro NBA tryout where Zakiya was the choreographer, a group of dancers approached her after being cut and expressed their frustration with not knowing what they needed to do to make the team! They charged her with being the solution to this problem. Eight months later, Z Pro Prep® was born! Z Pro Preppers have made NFL and NBA teams in Los Angeles, New York, San Francisco, Atlanta, Charlotte, Tampa Bay, San Antonio, Nashville, and more! Three Z Pro Preppers have even gone to the Super Bowl! Will you be next?

Our coaches genuinely care about each and every one of our Z Pro Preppers. We dedicate time to ensure that your tryout concerns are addressed. There is a HUGE difference between making a pro team and helping others make a pro team. Not only are all of our coaches former NFL/NBA cheerleaders/dancers, but they have worked directly with preppers who successfully made teams! Auditions can be nerve wracking.
